Early Georg Jensen Art Nouveau Brooch
This gorgeous art nouveau-style master brooch is part of the Vintage Georg Jensen Jewelry Collection. It is a rare piece, designed and crafted by Georg Jensen himself right after establishing his business in 1905 or 1906. The labradorite stones give the brooch a touch of glamour, perfectly complementing the lavish silverwork. Not surprisingly, both Janet Drucker's "Georg Jensen, A Tradition of Splendid Silver" and the Yale Press' "Georg Jensen Jewelry" devote significant space to this exquisite piece. Its condition is superb, showcasing Georg Jensen's extraordinary craftsmanship.
