This exceptional vintage cuff bracelet by the legendary William Spratling exemplifies his pioneering artistry during the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Handcrafted in 980 sterling silver—a purer silver than the standard 925—this piece features bold copper inlays in a braided chevron pattern, creating a striking contrast. The cuff's substantial size and weight, at 102 grams, make it ideal for collectors or as a statement piece.
Made in Taxco, Mexico, during the late 1930s, this bracelet highlights Spratling's dedication to blending traditional Mexican craftsmanship with innovative design. The piece is fully hallmarked with Spratling’s early maker's mark, “Taxco,” and “980,” further attesting to its authenticity and period origin.
