About Silver Maker Stuart Nye

Stuart Nye was a self-taught United States artisan who founded his company in 1933 during the great depression. His pieces reflect nature, especially that of Western North Carolina, where Nye's Ashville workshop is located. It is reported that Stuart Nye pieces are still handcrafted and finished using old style tools and in the same fashion as Stuart used in his early years.
