William Spratling Amethyst Statement Ring in Sterling Silver

This rare William Spratling amethyst ring from his first design period (1944-1946) is a true collector’s piece. A bold and elegant design, it features a large, round cabochon amethyst set in a sterling silver bezel, accentuated by four silver beads on each shoulder—a signature detail in Spratling’s early work. The wide, solid band offers a comfortable fit while enhancing the ring’s sculptural presence. This sterling silver statement ring is fully hallmarked with the Spratling mark encircled by “Spratling” and “Made in Mexico,” along with “Spratling Silver,” confirming its authenticity. Whether worn as a statement piece or added to a distinguished collection, this ring embodies the refined artistry of William Spratling.
